It is a part of the global Century Mechanical Systems Group of Companies, which has over nine locations spread across six countries. Raw Material Besides a vast area designated for storage of raw materials, CMS�s sprawling floor area facilitates duct storage and duct fabrication work. CMS prides itself in its inventory of a wide array of raw material of GI (Galvanized Iron) sheet in coils, which it imports from renowned mills around the globe, including from those in Japan, South Africa, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, India, Europe and Australia. Exclusive Quality We stock exclusive quality material conforming to ASTM A653 in Lock-forming Quality, Un-Oiled, Chromated, Regular Spangle, Zinc Coating Z27 / G90 / G275 (275gms/sqmt). Fabrication in other metals Apart from fabrication in Galvanized Iron which is our forte, we also undertake fabrication work in other sheet metals such as Mild Steel, Black/Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium. Planning Prompt deliveries of ducts to work sites are ensured by efficient planning and swift execution of orders by our fabrication team, working in perfect coordination with the transpor t personnel. This helps your execution staff in meeting even the most punishing work schedules at the site. CNC Auto fold machines Our Five Coil Line Machines together comprise of 25 De-coilers, each of which can automatically fold straight duct pieces from coils weighing up to 7 tons. These 25 de-coilers help to feed GI Sheet of various thickness into the Five Auto Fold machines. Straight pieces can be made out of the Auto-folds from a minimum size of 100mm x 100mm right upto a maximum size of 2500mm x 2500mm duct, with a single joint in Pittsburgh. Our machines can provide various combined bending and cutting sections for forming ducts in different modules e.g. Straight Cuts, L-Sections, U-Sections and Full Wrap-around Boxes. CNC Plasma Machines While cutting the sheets for ducts, fittings, and specially designed par ts, we use the advanced cutting techniques of Computer Numeric Control (CNC). The CNC Plasma cutting machine is loaded with high-tech software which ensures a high level of dimensional accuracy. CMS prides in having Seven such CNC Plasma machines in its factory. These automated systems also make cutting of the GI sheets for fabrication purposes much faster and more accurate. Such high degree of efficiency is attained with maximum speed and minimum wastage. The CNC system can be calibrated for cutting sheets in thicknesses of up to 2.7 mm. Stiffening The computer controlled Auto-select De-coiler also yields exact dimensions with a perfect 90-degree turnover, along with a combined straightening and profiling unit, which makes the ducts straight, and reinforces them by �stiffening� and �Z� profiling / pleating at 150mm apart. Transverse joints Accessories for transverse duct joints in lower gauges / smaller sizes are manufactured by our Roll Forming Machine. These accessories are Flat S Cleat, Flat C Drive, Standing S Cleat (normal), and Standing S Cleat (with flatbar). In order to ensure consistency and high quality in transverse joints in higher gauges / bigger sizes CMS offers �MEZ� Technik� (of German origin) and VENTO (of European origin) flanging system. These are available in 20mm, 30mm & 40mm sizes conforming to all the prescribed international standards viz. DW-142/144, SMACNA & ASHRAE. The use of flanges significantly minimizes air leakage, as they are fortified with sealants on the inner folds during the manufacturing process. Other CMS Products The CMS line of products includes SPIRO� Spiral Ducting, Volume Control Dampers (VCD� Rectangular, Round and Motorized), Non-Return Dampers (NRD), Fire Dampers (FD), Duct Access Doors (AD), Double skinned Vanes and Rails, Variable Air Volume (VAV), Grills and Diffusers, Sound Attenuators, Flat S Cleat, Flat C-Drive, Standing S Cleat, Standing S Cleat with flat bar, Sand Trap Louvers. Keeping in step with time and technology, CMS is fully equipped with modern machinery, and is by far, the largest duct fabrication factory in the UAE, and indeed across the GCC. No wonder then, that we have achieved such immense levels of output. Beyond Borders CMS has successfully executed orders received from neighboring countries like Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Iran, and also from those as far afield as Kazakhstan and Tanzania. Ideal Location The fabrication facility of Century Mechanical Systems Factory LLC is conveniently located in Al Quoz Industrial Area No.2 of Dubai. This gives an easy access from the 3rd and 4th Inter-change on Sheikh Zayed Road on its west as well as via Al Khail Road on its east. CMS also have an additional fabrication facility at Ras Al Khaimah, Al Jazeera Al Hamra Main Street, Ras Al Khaimah Investment Authority Zone (RAKIA).
