Company, bearing a name 'Polyols & Polymers Pvt. Ltd.' (Previously known) came into recognition as a firm name ' Polyols & Polymers' in the year 1989. Mr. Prabir Kumar Dutt (Founder), after resigning from the post of Senior Scientist from the National Research Laboratory that comes under the Council of Scientific Research, with little financial support and high confidence by side, formed Polyols & Polymers. Coming from a family of a business background, it was like destined thing for Mr. Prabir to have inclination towards entrepreneurship to which he gave practicality by starting business of his own. During his graduation time at IIT (Indian Institute of Technology), Kharagpur and also at National Laboratories (CSMCRI), where he was operating as a senior scientist, he holds the vision to commence a technology based firm. His this vision & passion to follow his dream made him turned down the offer to work in USA which he received at the time of exchange study program. National Research Development Corporation of India has acknowledged efforts Mr. Prabir Kumar Dutt put across in development of Ketonic Resin and has awarded him. In the entire sub-continent region, we are known as pioneers of Ketonic Resins The company undertakes everything from lab scale projects to commercialized production in-house works. Experience of successful handling of chemists work for huge industrial base, has increased market growth. At present, the functioning of company is looked after by Mr. Supratik Dutt who is proud Gold Medalist holder in Polymer Engineering from University of Pune (MIT) and also from Business Admintration from S.P.Jain Institute of Management & Research.
