Alloy Steel Flanges

Alloy Steel Flanges is a forged or cast ring of steel designed to connect mechanically sections of pipe or join pipe to a pressure vessel, valve, pump any other piece of equipment.

Alloy Steel Flange Material can differ according to its chemical composition. Low Alloy Steel Flanges are widely used for automotive and aerospace bodies, offshore and onshore structural engineering plates and railway lines. It has chemical composition, such as nickel, nickel-chromium, molybdenum, chromium-molybdenum steels etc.

Chrome moly flanges provide improved levels of chromium and molybdenum. The addition of chromium helps to increase itshardenability and corrosion resistance, Alloy Steel Threaded Flanges are widely demanded as pipe flanges i.e called as threaded flanges which is useful in different industrial applications. It is also known as screwed flange and it has a thread inside the flange bore which fits on the pipe with matching male thread on the pipe.

ASTM A182 Alloy Steel Blind Flanges is a solid disk used to block off a pipeline or to create a stop. It has mounting holes around the perimeter and the gasket sealing rings are machined into the mating surface. It does not have any openings for fluids to pass through. It can be placed in between two open flanges, which stops the flow through a pipe.
