These are contoured pipe branch outlet fittings which form a 90-degree connection with the run or header pipe. An insert outlet is typically used in applications that are less critical. An insert branch outlet with a designated Class 3000 rating can withstand a nominal pressure of 2000psi. And the maximum test pressure this branched fitting can bear is around 3000psi.
